Event Summary:
A three day non-residential summer school for girls.
Do you know any girls from an ethnic minority background that are considering going to university in the future?
If so, this three day summer school would be a fantastic introduction to higher education.
Full Event Details:
Over the three days, students will be:
involved in a variety of taster sessions, meet and work closely with other local students, find out what life at university is like and work with our friendly student mentors and meet our academic staff.
If you have students that are interested in this event, please complete the booking form. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Essential information - applicants for this event - must be from a UK Black or Minority Ethnic (BME) background - must be able to attend all three days - are recommended to bring their own lunch or money to buy lunch - need to be accompanied by a member of staff. However, if you're sending a group of seven or less, it may be possible for them to attend unaccompanied, but you'll need to arrange this with us before the day.
