Full Event Details:

Experience science without words with Experimentrics, be blown away by extreme sports, and teeter on the edge with amazing Acrobalance.

The award-winning Lancashire Science Festival returns for its fifth year and this year’s theme is Goes Beyond, so expect mind-blowing stunts, tricks and experiments. Headlining the festival will be Extreme Sports Battle, who will showcase jaw-dropping feats by BMX stunt riders and free runners, and Experimentrics, who will perform their world renowned innovative show mixing physical theatre and live science demos in a mysterious and fun way. We also welcome professional science communicators including Huw James, Matt Pritchard and Being 747. As well as exciting shows and demonstrations, there will also be plenty of hands-on opportunities for both children and adults to get involved with, such as 3D printing, dressing-up and robotics.

The Lancashire Science Festival is a great day out for children and adults of all ages and it’s free! There will also be a number of fringe events taking place in the run up to the festival so make sure to look out for those.

Please register your interest on the Lancashire Science Festival website.

We are pleased to announce that our public programme remains free of charge and open to all. For further enquiries please contact the festival team on 01772 894288.
