Event Summary:
Taster Days are ideal for post 16 students interested in a certain subject and for those who haven’t decided on their course of study.
On the day students will find out more about the course, take part in interactive workshops, go on a campus tour and meet current students.
Full Event Details:
Students will
• Take part in stimulating practical workshops exploring music production, performance, recording, dialogue replacement and sound design
• Explore the ‘science of sound’ and its application, including the theory and processes involved in pre and post production of sound and music for film and the moving image
• Develop skills in sound capture and creation including the measurement of room characteristics (acoustics), microphone placement and sound manipulation
• Meet and talk to our academic staff and current students studying on the Music Technology and Production courses
