This engaging event is designed to give Year 10 students an insight into studying medicine at university and future careers in the medical profession. During the day students will hear from academics from the Medical School, current medical students and a doctor as well as taking part in interactive workshops.

This event is aimed at Year 10 pupils who are interested in finding out more about getting into Medicine.
The Insight into Medicine day will introduce students from schools in the West Midlands to careers in Medicine. It aims to raise the aspirations of under-represented groups of students to study at university and to pursue a career as a doctor.
Students will visit the university campus' Medical School and attend a number of sessions aimed at giving them an insight into life as a medical student and as a doctor. They will also particpate in a number of workshops which will help them find out about the research and disciplines associated with medicine and healthcare.
