Full Event Details:
The Year 12 & FE Arts Taster day is designed to give year 12 & FE students a taste of our wide range of Arts courses we have to offer here at the University of Cumbria.
The day will allow you to choose 3 subject sessions to participate in throughout the day as well as the opportunity to go on a tour of the campus.
Some of the subject areas to choose from are (more to follow):
•Performing Arts
•Fine Art
•Games Design
•Film & TV
•Graphic Deisgn & Illustration
•English & Creative Writing
•Personal Statements Talk
The taster day runs from 9:45am till 3pm and includes a Welcome and Introduction to Higher Education talk, 3 1 hour taster sessions with break for lunch, and a tour of the campus and facilities. The day gives students a good understanding of what it would be like to study these subjects at degree level to allow for a more informed UCAS application.
