Property & Planning Workshop

This workshop is aimed at students who might be interested in a career in the property industry and want to find out what it is all about. You will get a chance to talk to property professionals about their jobs. You will also meet university lecturers and students so you can ask about our courses we offer that can prepare you for these careers.

The interactive session will include:
• A visit to a site of a potential development in the Marylebone area. We will explore the site from the viewpoint of different stakeholders who influence the development.
• Following the site visit you will simulate the key stages of a planning application. You will take on different roles of stakeholders who would influence the development of this site. You will make a presentation that will be judged by industry professionals/lecturers.
• An opportunity to meet professionals who work in Property and find out what they do.
• An opportunity for visitors to talk to our Property lecturers and current
students about our Property courses.

The workshop will take place at our Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Marylebone Campus. The address is 35 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LS. The Campus is located opposite Madame Tussauds, and Baker Street Tube Station.

Places are on a first come first served basis. If we are oversubscribed we will endeavour to run and additional workshop.
