Full event details
Students will have the opportunity to take part in an experiment that taps directly into the AS Level curriculum for the AQA, Edexcel and OCR boards. The experiment is a replication of a classic experiment from Cognitive Psychology – Peterson and Peterson (1959) experiment into the duration of short-term memory. Students will be able to participate in the experiment in our cognitive laboratory suite and then take part in a group discussion on the findings such as considering the effect of instructions, possible bias of errors, reliability and validity of the findings of the actual study they have participated in.
