Full event details

Following the success of the Sixth Form Law Conference in 2011 organised jointly by the Bar Council, St Philips Chambers and Aston Law, we are delighted to be running the event again in September 2012.

The Conference takes place on Saturday 22nd September 2012 at St Philips Chambers in Birmingham City Centre and is aimed at bright Sixth Form students, who will be in Year 13/Year 2 in September 2012. Students should have a genuine interest in becoming a Lawyer and in finding out about Law Degrees and the work of Barristers.

The Conference is free (with free lunch provided) and open to any Year 13/Year 2 student attending a state school or college and expected to achieve at least ABB grades at A level.

Due to a limited number of places available at the conference each school/college will only be able to send a maximum of 5 students.

Booking is essential and application forms must be completed individually by the students themselves and are available to download from http://www.aston.ac.uk/study/opendays/zmasterclasses. Alternatively please contact Angela Morris at [email protected] or by phone on 0121 204 4787 and I will be happy to email a copy of the application form.

Although the conference is free of charge, due to the number of places available we will be imposing a cancellation charge of £25 to the school/colege for any cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event or for any student who fails to attend on the day or leaves early without prior notification.
