This session will provide an opportunity for English Literature A Level students to see how the ways of reading and responding to Shakespeare that they are encountering are taken forward and developed in university-level study. Led by the Department of English, this session will offer students a taste of the different ways in which Shakespeare is researched, taught and explored at university; it will offer a taste of different teaching and learning methods, via a mini-lecture and small group work. The session might be tailored to reflect particular plays studied by those students attending.
