Summer School participants take part in classes which will seek to improve study skills such as academic writing, referencing and critical thinking.

In addition, participants are encouraged to take part in the social activities during the evening, which in the past have included bowling, cookery classes and a photo hunt.

Study skills workshops explore:

> how to become a note-taking genius
> the secrets of academic writing
> how to be a star performer in seminars and group work
> how to make the most out of the library
> how to become an e-learning whizz - and lots more!
