Newman University is a single campus university based in Birmingham, founded in 1968. We have two Faculties: the Faculty of Education (FED) and the Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies (FASPS). Every undergraduate degree at Newman University involves a compulsory work placement. This is usually carried out in the 2nd year of the degree and is a key factor in the high employment rate of our graduates. The majority of our 3yr degrees are offered as a 4 year degree incorporating a foundation year.
