Event Summary:
The study of religion and ritual in the past is a fascinating and significant topic in understanding our ancestors. In this event we will introduce the topic and showcase new research. After a brief introduction to the Department, academic staff will discuss how archaeologists think about strange artefacts and monuments.

This talk will be followed by an opportunity for hands-on study of the kinds of artefacts and evidence which archaeologists use in the study of past ritual and belief.
