Full event details

This day will introduce you to the study of English at University in particular to English courses which have a historical spine. Here you will have the opportunity to study English literature from its earliest roots to the present day.

This Taster Day is an excellent way to experience how such a course works in practice. You will gain hands-on experience of lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by our highly respected English academics. Together we will explore why and how the ancient roots of English Literature continue to inspire each new generation of writers… from Beowulf to the Booker!
