Full Event Details:
This introductory course will provide participants with an overall understanding of the transnational nature of the modern world as it relates to migration, and related issues in the field of anthropology, politics, development and globalisation. The programme of study employs a multidisciplinary approach, with both teaching from academics and workshops delivered by diaspora professionals. Participants will develop a broad understanding of the main areas of study in this field, and the ability to refer to particular case studies as well as practical examples where required. The course comprises a combination of lectures and interactive workshops; museum visits and social events.
