Event Summary:

Summer School aims to prepare students for life on campus when they start their course in September and gives them the opportunity to gain 20 tariff points to support their application.

Full Event Details:

Summer School takes place from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July. Over the five days on campus, students will be able to immerse themselves in student life and have their own timetable. Sessions include:

•Lecturers and seminars in their chosen subject area
•Library skills sessions
•Careers and employability workshops
•HE skills seminars
•Preparing for student life
•Campus orientation

Students will also be given the option to receive a week’s travel pass for Tyne and Wear, or to stay in halls of residence for the duration.
