Edinburgh - the perfect place to study
Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, is amongst one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world. It blends impressive architecture and a rich history and culture with a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere. For students, Edinburgh has lots to offer; libraries, galleries, museums, cinemas, shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants, concert venues, theatres, a wide range of sports facilities and great transport links.

Throughout the year, Edinburgh comes alive with various cultural festivals. In the summer, The Edinburgh International Festival brings music, dance, opera and theatre to the city, while the Festival Fringe offers every conceivable art form, including street theatre and performances in all manner of venues. Fringe Sunday is a great chance to catch free shows and previews. The Science and Folk Festivals take place in spring and thousands of people come to Edinburgh from all over the world to be part of the world's largest party - Hogmanay - which helps to celebrate the beginning of the New Year. There's also the Film Festival, Jazz Festival, Military Tattoo, Book Festival, and much, much more.
