Birmingham Newman University's Student Recruitment Team strive to enhance students' knowledge of Higher Education and the opportunities that studying at University can offer them. The team provides a free service to institutions across the UK - supporting teachers, careers advisers, parents, carers and students through the transition into HE.
Our Student Recruitment Team provide a free service to Institutions across the UK in order to provide information, advice & guidance for students, parents, carers, teachers and advisers on topics related to Higher Education.
The team are able to deliver a number of talks and workshops, such as:
- Introduction to Higher Education & Student Life
- Researching University and courses
- Student Finance
- How to write an effective Personal Statement
- Subject specific academic-led sessions
The talks have a duration of 20 - 30 minutes, specially matched to year groups. Whereas our interactive workshop versions last from 40 - 60 minutes, and include engaging activities.
We are also open to combinations of the above talks or workshops, as well as attending your Careers Fayres and events.
