Are you considering a career as a photojournalist? The Press Gang Juniors day run by BA(Hons) Press & Editorial Photography at Falmouth is intended for year 12 and year 13 students who have a keen interest in studying press photography at degree-level and are currently studying it at A Level or as part of a Level 3 BTEC.
During the day you will take part on a photo shoot around the campus, working alongside students studying the course. Back in the studio, you will analyse your images and take part in a wider discussion of professional, topical photographs. Finally, tutors on the course will give you advice on how to prepare your portfolio for application and interview should you apply to the course.
What should I bring?
You should bring a photograph from a newspaper or magazine for discussion. This can be from a topical news story or be a lifestyle magazine image. Camera equipment will be loaned for free from our photography store. Lunch will be provided.
