Our Geography department are delighted to invite your AS- and A2-Level students to our subject conferences this year. Covering key areas in Geography, these free events are designed to supplement your students’ current or future studies by focusing on areas of specialism at Liverpool Hope University

The details of the events are as follows:
Human Geography and the Coastal Dunes.

From 2pm – 4.30pm at our Hope Park Campus, Hope Park, Liverpool, L16 9JD.

1.30pm – 2pm Arrival at Liverpool Hope. The Conference will begin promptly at 2pm.

2pm – 2.15pm Welcome to Liverpool Hope and our Geography Department

2.15pm – 3pm Coastal Dunes and the Sands of Time web site
Paul Rooney is a Senior Lecturer at Liverpool Hope. He is the Director of the UK Sand Dune and Shingle Network, and is a specialist in coastal sand dunes.

3pm – 3.15pm Break

3.15pm – 4pm (Re)branding Liverpool
Dr Janet Speake is a lecturer in Human Geography at Liverpool Hope. Her specialist interest is cities, particularly in urban renaissance and the effects of culture led revitalisation in city centre/inner city settings.

4pm – 4.15pm Closing Address and Q & A
4.15pm – 4.30pm Depart Hope
