About the Lecture

In this lecture Professor Nandi will explain the scope of Signal Processing, which draws together aspects of mathematics, modelling (physics), statistics, electronics, and increasingly machine learning. He will outline some of his personal research endeavours in particle physics, communications, audio, breast cancer, genes, and human brain to demonstrate the diverse applications of signal processing. He will also outline the importance of the subject as well as challenges ahead, along with its bright future.

About Professor Asoke Nandi
