Full event details

Why did the Rwandan genocide happen? Should the West intervene to stop the bloodshed in Syria? What will help Afghanistan become a peaceful prosperous society? In Peace Studies we use the insights of sociology, politics, history and other disciplines to solve important global questions.

Through our Taster day activities (group work and simulations), you will see that there are many possible answers to these questions. You will learn to negotiate and to assess options. Peace Studies is all about interaction and debate, so you will have the opportunity to talk to our current undergraduates and staff about what we offer.
