Set at our beautiful Hope Park campus, this conference, led by some of our leading academics, will supplement Level 3 students in Human Biology, as well as giving an insight into university teaching
We are delighted to invite you and your Level 3 Biology and/or Sport students to our Biology Subject Conference. This free event is designed to supplement your students’ current or future studies by focusing on an area of specialism at Liverpool Hope University.
The conference will be taking place on from 2pm – 4.30pm at our Hope Park Campus, Hope Park, Liverpool, L16 9JD.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
1.30pm – 2pm: Arrival at Hope & complementary refreshments. The session will begin promptly at 2pm.
2pm – 2.15pm: Welcome to Liverpool Hope and our Biology course
2.15pm – 4.15pm: Molecular Techniques in Biology
Students will be able to take part in a laboratory practical that enables them to study some of the most important methods in modern laboratory science.
Note those with any concerns about their health, in particular immunocompromised students, should contact the University before signing up for this session.
4.15pm – 4.30pm: Closing Address and Q & A
4.30pm: Depart Hope
Please note, due to the interactive nature of this session we have a maximum of 20 places available so early booking is advised. We also advise students to bring their lab coats for the taster session.
