Planning your day

Our Open Events are designed to be flexible, so you can tailor your visit to suit exactly what you want to find out. We run key talks throughout the event, so you don’t have to be the first through the door to find out about study choices, our earn-as-you-learn schemes, accommodation options, our commitment to environmental sustainability, and everything else you need to know about university life in Worcester.

Our Open Events are based primarily at our St John’s Campus, which will give you the chance to see for yourself our new study and guidance centre, new and refurbished halls of residence, recently opened science laboratories, and the fully refurbished Students’ Union.

We’ve invested millions of pounds in new student facilities over the last few years, both on and off our St John’s Campus, so we also give you the chance to take a shuttle bus for the quick trip over the River Severn to our City Campus. On the way you’ll be able to see the sports and performance facilities in our Riverside building and the brand new University Arena, plus creative arts facilities at The Garage, the Infirmary Medical Museum at the City Campus itself, and The Hive, our stunning university and public library.

Don’t forget that coming to university is about more than just life on campus, so remember to venture into Worcester itself to see the bigger picture.

In order to choose the right university, you need to ask questions. You need to develop your opinions and ultimately choose somewhere that will challenge you, help you achieve your career aspirations and be a welcoming place that you can call home.

We think this is a great place to live and study – we look forward to showing you why.
