University of Cumbria subject taster days are intended for Year 12, first year college and Access students, who would like a unique insight into degree-level study before applying to university. Visitors are given the opportunity to learn about multiple related academic disciplines by attending hands-on workshops and mock lectures led by our highly experienced and friendly academic staff.

Our subject tasters days cover a wide variety of degree programmes. Amongst others, you can learn more about nursing, midwifery, primary teaching, performing arts, law, psychology or sports science. Individuals and schools groups are invited to attend.
