Current technological advances enjoy the opportunity of bigger data storage and faster data processing capabilities. New expressions start to be used on a daily basis. such as data mining and big data. Big Data represents highly dynamic, complex and highly variate, high-volume distributed collections of data sets, difficult to be processed in relational databases and desktop analytics tools in affordable periods of time. Data Mining uses computational techniques to identify and extract patterns in big data collections.
