Two lectures from our Tourism staff covering "New Forms" of Tourism and Branding & Marketing in Tourism.
Tourism is the world’s largest industry, worth over $3trillion annually worldwide, and has become one of its biggest sources of employment. There is no better city in which to study Tourism than Liverpool. During Liverpool’s year as the European Capital of Culture in 2008 over 14 million tourists visited the city, generating over £800 million and creating approximately 15,000 new jobs. The legacy of Capital of Culture sees Liverpool’s continuing development of new arts, heritage, and cultural attractions, retail developments and luxury hotels.
Our Tourism Department are offering a subject conference for AS/A2 Level students to provide two lectures and support their studies.
