Full event details
Few disciplines are as well positioned as geography for making sense of the connections that make up our world. These inter-connections are continually being remade between humans and their environments and between distant strangers. From the financial crisis to global environmental change, geographers seek to make sense of this interconnected world in an effort to change it. The course consists of lectures and workshops. The topics to be covered include: climate change, geographies of development, travel and exploration, reconstructing environments, information technology and global communication, resource scarcity
