Be part of something special at Wrexham

Wrexham University is a vibrant, friendly, and inclusive learning community. We are dedicated to inspiring our students and we place their success firmly at the heart of everything we do. We are an accessible, innovative, supportive, and ambitious university with a host of courses to suit you.

Accessible – Here at Wrexham University, we believe that opportunities for higher education should be available to everyone, and we strive to provide the best possible accessibility for all. In fact, we have been ranked number one in England and Wales for social inclusion for the sixth year running in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2024.

Innovative - As a university, we are open to innovation and ideas, producing ground-breaking research and working on world-leading developments. One of our most notable successes saw our team at the OpTIC Centre in St Asaph polish prototype mirrors for a £900m project on the world’s largest telescope.

Supportive – We are ranked in the top 10 in the UK for Student Satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2024. We offer Careers and Employability support for life, and we have a wealth of student support departments available.

Ambitious - Our campuses are home to a range of state-of-the-art buildings, equipment and facilities; from our Creative Industries Building and cutting-edge research centre in St Asaph, to our £3 million conference and performance centre with a separate theatre studio. We’re also delivering an impressive programme of improvements and developments as part of our ambitious £80m upgrade plan, to ensure students have the best facilities and learning environment when studying with us.
