The University has three main sites in Wolverhampton, Telford and Walsall. We have hundreds of undergraduate courses including both full- and part-time, single-subject and joint honours degrees. Employability

We embed employability into all our programmes, contributing to economic growth regionally and nationally by creating opportunities and connections for our students. Almost 87% of our UK graduates from the most recent cohort were employed, in education, or running their own business 15 months after graduation, according to the latest Graduate Outcomes report (published July 2021). It also showed almost 68% of our UK graduates were in highly skilled professions, with 77% working within the West Midlands.

Through continuous investment and dedication, we drive economic growth across the region. We train our students to become skilled professionals ready to enrich and serve the West Midlands and beyond.

Courses and fees

The University of Wolverhampton is divided into three faculties, each split into specialist Schools and Institutes offering a wide range of subjects to help you achieve your ambitions. These include:

Facilities and student support

Whatever your subject requires – from mock court rooms and recording studios, to sports labs and psychology suites – you'll have it at your fingertips. Our buildings are equipped with the latest facilities to ensure that you have everything you need to succeed in your studies.

Investing in the development of our facilities and programmes is an essential part of our progressive ethos, ensuring that our courses and facilities remain world-class Over the past five years we have made huge advances in our offering, refreshing our course portfolio to reflect industry needs and investing in brand-new facilities including our Business School, state-of-the-art Rosalind Franklin Building, School of Pharmacy, and Springfield Campus, which is dedicated to architecture and built environment.

Students' Union

Each campus has a well-equipped library, with extensive study facilities and resources, as well as friendly, informed librarians. They offer extended opening hours, plus selected 24/7 opening during exam periods and submission deadlines. The ASSIST online library chat service is available 24/7 to answer your queries. Libraries offer social, quiet, silent and bookable spaces, plus specialist software.

Students' Union

The University of Wolverhampton Students' Union (SU) is independent of the University and represents, supports, and works with students in order to influence positive change to all areas of university life. The SU's Advice Quality Standard-accredited Advice and Representation Centre offers professional, independent, free and confidential advice. Students' campus experience is enriched with societies, the Well@Wolves health and wellbeing programme, and social spaces. The wellbeing of our students is one of our highest priorities. If you’re studying with us, whatever you’d like to discuss or need help with, we have a team to help. Whether it’s a social, financial, mental, spiritual, emotional, educational, or physical issue. Our teams include a multi-faith chaplaincy; disability support; academic coaches; mental health & wellbeing advisors; funding and finance experts; and skills for learning tutors.

Research

Research at the University of Wolverhampton is at its highest ever level according to the most recent national assessment of research quality, published in May 2022. We have significantly grown our research, and submitted four new subject areas and 75% more staff than in REF2014. The results that were published in May show that more than half of our research is judged as internationally excellent (3*) and world-leading (4*).
