About New College of the Humanities
Based in London, New College of the Humanities (NCH London) has developed a reputation for delivering an unrivalled university experience, exceeding all Russell Group universities for student satisfaction in the UK’s National Student Survey (NSS 2019).
Small by design, NCH London offers a vibrant, collegiate community with one of the best staff-to-student ratios in UK higher education. The College delivers broad and more academically rigorous degree programmes, designed to equip graduates with the combination of skills and knowledge that are increasingly desired by organisations, employers and society.
Following the grant of Taught Degree Awarding Powers in February 2020, the College is expanding its portfolio by developing interdisciplinary degree programmes, which combine its emphasis on the humanities with the exploration of complementary scientific subjects.
Undergraduate degree programmes
Undergraduates study combined honours degrees, comprising subjects including Art History, Creative Writing, Data Science, Economics, English, History, Law, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Psychology, alongside the College’s liberal arts-inspired NCH Diploma. The NCH Diploma offers a vibrant mix of Applied Ethics, Critical Reasoning and Science Literacy, as well as LAUNCH, the College’s unique professional development programme, which teaches students the skills and behaviours they need to succeed in the increasingly competitive graduate recruitment market.
