The University of Southampton is a top 100 global university (QS World University Rankings, 2019) and a founding member of the Russell Group, with over 150 years of history.

Home to over 24,000 students from 135 countries, Southampton has a diverse and welcoming student community.

As a research-intensive institution, courses are taught by world-leading academics, with access to cutting-edge facilities, and business partnerships. The University is ranked in the Top 10 for research intensity in the UK (the latest REF, 2014) and was awarded Silver in the 2019 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

The University is based on the south coast of the UK, with five campuses in Southampton, one in Winchester, and one in Malaysia.
