Engineering and Physical Sciences Discovery Day

Deciding what to study at university is one of the most important academic decisions students will make. To help raise awareness of what options are available and to help guide students to make appropriate A-level subject choices, the University of Birmingham will be running a series of Year 10 Discovery Days this summer and is inviting schools across the UK to take part.

These events are divided into subject-specific areas and are designed for Year 10 students to find out more about some of the options available to study post sixth form education and the range of degree programmes offered by the University of Birmingham. The sessions are designed to be informative but fun. They include interactive workshops, opportunities to see facilities on offer and to find out about careers and opportunities available after leaving university.
