Discover what it's like to study Geography at the University of Birmingham. Meet academics and current students, explore campus and learn how our courses tackle global challenges including climate change, sustainability and urban development. Ideal if you're starting your university search or can't attend our October or November Open Days.
If you're just starting to research universities, missed our June Open Day, or can't attend one of our main Open Days, our Geography Information Day is a great opportunity to discover what it's like to study at the University of Birmingham.
Designed for students interested in exploring the relationships between people, places and the environment, this event offers an early introduction to Geography at Birmingham. You'll have the opportunity to explore our campus, meet academics and current students, and discover how our courses tackle some of the world's biggest challenges, from climate change and sustainability to global inequalities and urban development.
If you're able to attend one of our full Open Days on 10 October or 14 November, we encourage you to do so, as these events include the full programme of subject talks, exhibitions and student experiences. Our Information Day is the perfect first step if you're beginning your university journey or are unable to attend an Open Day.
