Full event details

This taster session offers prospective students the opportunity to explore the question 'What is capitalism?' The session will be interactive, allowing students time to explore the question from their own perspectives, before engaging with some of the foundational thinkers and theorists of capitalism (including the famous philosopher and political economist Karl Marx). Together, we will look at how capitalism shapes the lives of workers throughout the globe; specifically looking at the global fast fashion industry in South Asia.
