Full event details

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham is pleased to invite Sixth Form students to study with them for an afternoon of Philosophy. The event will take place on Wednesday 6 March 2013 from 2-5pm on the topics of: ethics; epistemology (theory of knowledge); and metaphysics. The afternoon will take the form of lectures by individual members of the academic staff, with a concluding 30-minute question-and-answer session. There will also be an interval in which sixth-formers can talk to staff and students about studying Philosophy at University. The cost of the event will be £5 for students, with free attendance for teachers.
