The Social Mobility Foundation’s Aspiring Professionals Programme, a completely free-of-charge programme for high-achieving students in year 12 is currently open for applications. We would like to remind you that students must apply for this programme by midday 21st January 2013.

Successful students are provided with a programme of mentoring, skills development, tailored university visits, university application support – with personal statements, interviews and aptitude tests – and the opportunity for internships at over 200 of the most prestigious employers in the UK.

Please encourage all of your Year 12 students who are expected to achieve at least ABB at A-Level, have at least 5 A grades at GCSE and have been eligible for Free School Meals to apply. For pupils who have not been eligible for Free School Meals, we will also accept applications from students who attend/attended a school with 30% of pupils on Free School Meals who will be the first generation to be going to university.
