A great opportunity for your Year 10 students to find out about university life and why people study for a degree. Preparing them for one possible post 18 option that they will consider in the future
At our ‘Year 10 Prepare for Your Future’ days, students are invited to explore the range of benefits of becoming a university student, and think about their potential future journey into higher education. These days consists of 3 high quality sessions, a ‘Why Go to University?’ lecture, a tour of our stunning campus and accommodation, and a ‘Course Builder’ workshop. All of these are designed to help your students prepare for their future and raise their aspirations to achieve highly.
These days are free, will run from 10am – 2pm, and are suitable for small and large groups of students. The days typically have a maximum capcity of 500 students so please let me know which dates you are interested in and I can let you know what the current capacities are in light of other bookings.

Arrival & Welcome Talk
Students will be greeted on arrival and taken to their first room of the day. There will be an opportunity for a comfort break before receiving a short welcome talk from one of our team members

This interactive presentation shares insight into the range of exciting benefits of becoming a university student, from learning about a favourite subject, to how students can boost their career prospects.

Campus Tour - a chance to ask our Student Ambassadors about their journey and student life

Course Builder
This activity will encourage students to think about their future as they look through a prospectus, learning about the courses available at the University, while completing a worksheet tracking their potential future journey through education.
