Full event details

The session will focus on how the current linear economy works, the negative externalities it generates, and why there is a need to transition to a sustainable economy that considers people's well-being and the environment. Participants will be introduced to the circular economy, which is an important tool for addressing the climate crises, biodiversity, and pollution.

The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.

These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
