Short Session Delivered at your school/college
Accounting is about more than just numbers. Management Accounting is concerned with working within an organisation to provide information that will improve decision making. This short exercise involves making decisions for a small organisation to illustrate that other transferable skills are important if the business is to be successful and profitable.
The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.
These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
