Short Session Delivered at your school/college
This presentation offers a glimpse at an important feature of optometry, the measurement of visual function and correction of ocular defects. You will learn about the interaction of light with the eye and how common ocular defects manifest themselves and how they can be corrected.
The Discover Programme consists of subject-specific lectures and workshops aimed at Year 12 or Year 1 college students, delivered by academics that teach at the University.
These sessions are designed to both complement the curriculum and introduce new subject areas.
