Full event details

Schools can choose either a self-guided tour including a 15-minute introduction to the gallery, or an hour’s guided tour. A tour of the campus, and/or lunch, can be added if desired.

The guided tours focus on key artworks in the collection, encouraging close looking and discussion-based exploration of our galleries. There are two options, either a ‘artist enquiry’ (this tour will encourage students to consider why and how artists’ practice (studio or otherwise!) has developed through art history) or a ‘art encounters’ tour (through three Barber artworks, explore how methods, styles and contexts of art have changed over time’.)
