Based on our campus, year 11, 12 and 13 students are offered the chance to experience several different workshops over the course of one day, to broaden their understanding of the different courses available in each area.

Full event details

Learners will take on the real-world problem of PlayStations overheating. By carefully dismantling the consoles, they'll explore how they work, identify the key sources of heat, and examine the existing cooling systems. Using measurement tools, they’ll assess how effectively the current setup performs.

Next, they’ll bring their ideas to life by designing and installing improved cooling solutions based on their own findings. After making the changes, they’ll collect new data to see how much their designs have improved performance.
