STEM Skills Masterclass

This masterclass will introduce you to the data driven decision making and leadership skills associated with an engineer in an interactive industry-based setting, It has been designed to, introduce and develop skills associated with STEM based careers with learning outcomes that can be applied across subjects as well as providing an interesting point for your personal statement and potential interview at Lancaster.

Lancaster University Engineering graduates are impacting our communities globally and locally through their work and research, applying knowledge and using skills developed as part of their studies at Lancaster. Working on developing the infrastructure of cities & green and efficient energy to the next generation of particle accelerator used to unlock the secrets of matter.

The masterclass is suitable for years 12 and 13 and as a ‘stretch and challenge’ opportunity for years 10 and 11. There will also be a short overview of the options available to study Engineering at undergraduate level at Lancaster University.
