In this webinar we connect with Katrina Emerson from the School of Health Sciences at UEA who will introduce their nursing courses. We will then connect with Emily, a Nursing graduate who has since worked in a variety of nursing roles, including A&E and international work. Emily is currently working as a health and wellbeing nurse for both illicit and prescribed drug misuse.
This is a great chance for Year 12 & 13 students (and equivalent) to hear about undergraduate Nursing study, the graduates’ university experience, and how this has prepared them for their current roles.
There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and to find out about the decisions the university alumni have made since they were in Year 12 & 13 to successfully embark upon, and establish themselves in, their careers.
Our events are designed so that a group of students can take part from a classroom or students and teachers can take part as individuals, either from school or from home. This means that sessions will continue irrespective of possible school closures.
Suitable for: Year 12 & 13 students studying, or with a possible interest in studying, Nursing and related disciplines.
