Law Virtual Taster Session, Tuesday 10th November - 9.15am

This event is aimed at years 11-13 and is designed to give students considering studying Law at degree level, or those currently studying Law or Social Science subjects, a flavor of what to expect from a degree course. This session is also open for individual bookings and those wanting to discover more about the subject area.

Waiter, Waiter, There's a Fly in my Soup!

In this session, Senior Law Lecturer, Tracey Aquino, will provide an insight to the fascinating law of torts, in particular to the protection given to those who are injured by dangerous products. You will look at cases that have addressed consumer protection, and you will explore how the law is influenced by morality and economic considerations as well as the needs of society. Hopefully the animals and objects we encounter will not leave you too traumtised to eat or drink!
