In this course we'll explore the fundamentals of building with biology: using case studies and practical examples of how Biochemical Engineers are helping to develop sustainable solutions to real-wold problems using synthetic biology.

There will the opportunity to visit the UCL Pilot Plant to see first hand how process engineering and R&D in this area can impact how pharmaceuticals will be made in future.
