Pre-16 Taster Session (Choice of - French or German or Spanish session)

The subject session with focus on Languages. Students will have the option of choosing a specific language stream for their taster session: French, German or Spanish. The streams will re-group in the final session to attend a “Business in the global world” session, which will focus on how their language degree can be outside their main discipline.

This event is for students in Year 9, 10 and 11 who would like to know more about studying Languages or Social Sciences at university and get a taste for university style learning. The day will include:

Introduction to studying at university
An insight from subject specific student ambassadors who will give their insight into studying at University, their university application, student life etc.
Subject taster session
Option to eat packed lunches on campus
