This year is the 99th anniversary of International Women in Engineering Day. The Day was set up by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to celebrate and highlight the amazing careers available to women engineers, particularly in light of the engineering skills shortage. We are inviting female students from local schools to take part in a motivational and informative day all about engineering and the built environment. There will be talks, presentations, and a hands-on challenge with prizes and a trophy for the winners.
