The day offers a combination of interactive life skills sessions, equipping students with the skills needed to make a successful transition into higher education, alongside a selection of academic workshops which aim to broaden learners' understanding of the careers and opportunities available across the sector. Learners can attend one of the following academic sessions:
- Property and Construction: Building, managing and investing in Birmingham
- Computing/ ICT: Using computing and ICT in today’s digital world
- Digital Technology/ Media: Creativity, technology and employability
- Engineering: Engineering in the 21st Century
