Full event details

Following the success of the ‘Healthy Lives, Healthy People’ event run by Aston University and Healthcare partners last July, I am pleased to inform you that we will be hosting this event again on 17th and 18th July 2012. The event on Tuesday 17th July will be open to pupils in Year 8 whilst the event on Wednesday 18th will be open to pupils in Year 11 and Year 12.

During the course of the event, pupils will have the opportunity to visit a variety of stalls run by academic staff from Aston’s School of Life and Health Sciences, partner Universities and Healthcare professionals to find out more about careers in health professions and leading healthy lives. There will be plenty of activities and experiments in which pupils can participate. This event will be particularly suited to pupils with an interest in a future as a healthcare professional.

Please note that booking is essential as places on this event are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. A maximum limit of 30 student places per school will be allocated in the first instance and requests for extra places will be considered after the deadline. If you would like to reserve places for your students please complete the enclosed booking form, stating your preferred time slot and the number of places you would like by Friday 29th June 2012.
